Safety First
Tours take place in shallow water under 4 feet, guided by experienced leaders. Every guest is equipped with a safety noodle, whistle, and glow stick for visibility. This is an approachable, low-risk way for both beginners and experienced snorkelers to enjoy the ocean at night.
Our Shelling Policy
We believe in protecting marine life. Only empty shells may be kept — any living creature you find (crabs, seahorses, fish, hermit crabs, etc.) is gently observed and then returned to the sea.

What to Expect on a 1- Hour Night Shelling & Snorkeling Tour in Anna Maria ISland
Our guided tours take small groups into the shallow, calm waters just off Anna Maria ISland, Florida. Each booked group shares a powerful 10,000-lumen LED light pod that illuminates the sea floor, revealing shells and sea creatures that are nearly invisible in daylight.
How it works:
- Check-in & Gear Up — Meet your guide at [MEETING LOCATION]. We’ll fit you with aqua socks, a glow stick, safety noodle, and whistle, and give a short safety briefing.
- Wade In — Walk into shallow water (never more than 4 feet deep) as a group, guided by your tour leader.
- Search & Discover — Use the group’s LED light pod to search the sand and shallows for shells, crabs, seahorses, and fish.
- Keep What’s Empty — Found an empty shell? It’s yours to keep in your collection bag. Any living creature is observed briefly, then returned to the water.
- Wrap Up — Return to shore after about an hour with your shell haul and stories to tell.
